Our BlueDental ChoiceSM is perfect for the group member who wants a choice of doctors with the ability to keep costs low. In order to maximize their benefits, members can choose from over 77,000 dentists and specialists offered in the BlueDental ChoiceSM nationwide network*. There are nearly 4,000 providers available to members in Florida. As with other network-based plans, maximum benefits are paid when choosing care from a dentist in this network.
Members have the choice, however, to go outside the network for care with some added out-of-pocket expense. In addition, out-of-network dentists may bill members for the difference between the BlueDental ChoiceSM fee schedule and their charges.
Either way, referrals and authorizations for care are never required with BlueDental ChoiceSM.

BlueDental ChoiceSM includes comprehensive benefits for prevention and early detection of tooth decay and dental disease.
Pre-determination of Benefits:
With BlueDental ChoiceSM, there are no surprises. If your dentist recommends a course of treatment, we will gladly review it to ensure the services suggested are covered under your dental plan.
Value-added Benefits:
Members will receive a 20% discount on Orthodontic and Cosmetic procedures at no additional premium cost. If you are enrolled in an eligible BlueDental Plan, and that plan includes an Orthodontic Rider, you will receive maximum benefits as shown in your Schedule of Benefits. Simply present your ID card to any participating Orthodontic or Cosmetic dentist who participates in our network.
Value-added benefits are only available to BlueDental ChoiceSM members in Florida.
Claims filing:
All participating dentists will file claims for you.
