Health Dialog

It's important for all of us to have the resources we need to make the best health care decisions for ourselves. What's right for one person may not be right for another. That's why we're working with Health Dialog^®. A resource for health information and health related programs, Health Dialog^® helps our members take an active role in making educated health care choices for themselves and their families.

They can visit the Dialog Center^SM, Health Dialog's educational website, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to search for understandable, evidence-based information on available treatment options or for education and support on significant medical issues.

Information and support is provided through:

• Health Coaches - Members can speak privately with experienced, licensed health care professionals, including Registered Nurses, dieticians and respiratory therapists, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• Web-based information tools, operated and maintained by Health Dialog^® - Members can search over 27,000 pages of up-to-date, easy to understand, in-depth information on more than 1,900 clinical topics including medical tests and medications
• Free audio, video and printed information on specific health conditions to help you weigh the risks and advantages of treatment options
