The Healthy Addition® program is a prenatal education/early intervention program designed to provide expectant women with information on steps they can take to help with a healthy pregnancy and delivery.
The program provides a special emphasis on educating and informing expectant mothers with risk factors that may indicate a complicated pregnancy.
Nurse Educators provide:
- Pregnancy risk screening and monitoring
- Education on healthy lifestyle and dietary habits
- Prenatal information
- Emotional support and answers to questions and concerns
- Reinforcement of physician's plan of care
